Mt Pelerin Introduces Crypto IBAN for Seamless Transactions

Geneva-based Mt Pelerin has launched personal crypto IBANs, integrating cryptocurrency with traditional banking networks. This feature transforms self-custodial wallets into universal accounts, enabling seamless money transfers across blockchains and banking systems.

Users can now link a euro or Swiss franc IBAN to their crypto wallet, facilitating bank transfers directly convertible into cryptocurrency. This development positions self-custody as a practical alternative to traditional banking, enhancing financial freedom without third-party custody.

Available globally, except in select countries, the service supports over 30 cryptocurrencies across 15 chains. Crucially, although the IBAN functions like a bank account, it doesn’t require declaration as such.
