Amaneos Acquires Magna's European Automotive Lighting Business
Mutares SE & Co. KGaA's portfolio company, Amaneos, has finalized the acquisition of the European automotive lighting division from Magna. This strategic move is set to enhance Light Mobility Solutions GmbH (LMS) by integrating cutting-edge lighting technologies with exterior systems. The acquired business, generating around EUR 200 million in 2025, brings with it advanced capabilities in LED, OLED, and other lighting technologies.
Located in Italy and Poland, the new assets include manufacturing plants and engineering centers, expanding Amaneos's footprint in both high-volume and premium automotive segments. The acquisition is poised to accelerate innovation, streamline operations, and offer OEMs improved design flexibility and reduced complexity.
