Mutares Acquires AmeriTerpenes from Symrise

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has completed the acquisition of AmeriTerpenes LLC, a US-based leader in natural terpene-based ingredients, from Symrise. The transaction marks a strategic expansion of Mutares in the Chemicals & Materials segment. AmeriTerpenes boasts revenues of approximately USD 200 million and operates from two US locations in Florida and Georgia, supplying various global markets.

The company specializes in products like Dihydromyrcenol and Linalool, widely used in perfumes, personal care, and food flavorings. With around 170 employees, AmeriTerpenes holds long-standing relationships with key customers in the consumer goods and industrial sectors. Mutares aims to leverage this acquisition to enhance its presence in the US market, showcasing potential for operational growth.
