Nabaltec AG Reports Revenue Increase in Q1 2025 Despite Challenges

Nabaltec AG has announced a revenue growth of 1.2% in the first quarter of 2025, reaching EUR 54.7 million, compared to the previous year. Despite persistent challenges in the chemical industry, and high energy costs impacting earnings, the company confirmed its preliminary figures. The operating profit stood at EUR 4.1 million, marking an 18.0% decrease from Q1 2024, with an EBIT margin of 7.5%.

The "Functional Fillers" segment saw a revenue increase of 4.1%, amounting to EUR 40.3 million. However, the "Specialty Aluminas" segment experienced a 6.1% revenue decline, attributed to the slow European refractories market.

Nabaltec remains optimistic, forecasting 3% to 5% revenue growth for 2025. The company expects medium-term momentum from expanding capacities and strategic product extensions, maintaining flexibility in adapting to market demands.
