Namibia Critical Metals Partners with Toyota Tsusho on Lofdal Project

Namibia Critical Metals Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with Toyota Tsusho Corporation, as selected by Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC). Toyota Tsusho, a key player in securing strategic materials, joins the Lofdal Heavy Rare Earths Project. This collaboration aims to enhance the project's potential as a future supplier of dysprosium and terbium, crucial for permanent magnets.

Toyota Tsusho's involvement brings extensive supply chain capabilities and aligns with Japanese industrial demand. The partnership boosts confidence in the project's development and commercialization prospects. The Lofdal Project is among the largest deposits of dysprosium and terbium outside China, reinforcing its global supply chain significance.

JOGMEC, with a 40% interest in Lofdal, supports the project through substantial financial commitments, enhancing its strategic positioning. The new partnership with Toyota Tsusho reflects a significant milestone for Namibia Critical Metals, positioning the Lofdal Project as a major supplier in the rare earth sector.
