Frankfurt am Main, June 4, 2025 – DN Deutsche Nachhaltigkeit AG has expanded its portfolio with a 9.5% stake in Save the Water Holding AG. This impact company is producing SOAPEYA, a water-free hand sanitizer that is both chemical-free and biodegradable. The product is designed to address hygiene issues in regions with water scarcity, offering a sustainable solution without compromising effectiveness.

With 4 billion people globally lacking access to adequate sanitation, SOAPEYA targets significant hygiene challenges. The product could reduce the reliance on water for handwashing, which uses 12 billion liters annually. This innovative approach aligns with ESG goals, earning Save the Water a notable score of 51 points.

The initial launch of SOAPEYA will focus on collaborations with NGOs and major health organizations, aiming to directly address global hygiene and water consumption challenges.
