SEVAD General Assembly: Review and New Members

The French Video-on-Demand Publishers Association (SEVAD) held its General Assembly on June 12, 2026, at Netgem. The review of the past year reveals a decline in transactional VOD activity of 8.5% in 2025 and 10.4% in the first five months of 2026. This situation underscores the importance of supporting French platforms to promote local content.

The reform of TSV, led by Denis Masseglia, represents an opportunity to establish a fairer system. The General Assembly welcomed two new members: Cortex Media and Médici TV.

Maxime Gruman of Gaumont Classique has joined the Board, which was reorganized following the creation of Sooner by FilmoTV and Universciné. The Board now includes Mathias Hautefort (Netgem) as President and several other influential members of the industry.
