Fluctuation in BlackRock's stakes in Nexans
On January 8, 2026, Nexans received notifications from BlackRock Inc. regarding changes in its shareholding. On January 6, 2025, BlackRock reduced its stake below 5%, holding 4.96% of the share capital and voting rights, following the sale of Nexans shares and a reduction of shares held as collateral. This sale reduced their holding to 2,167,848 shares.
However, the following day, January 7, 2025, BlackRock acquired more shares, once again exceeding the 5% threshold. They now hold 5.04% of the company's capital, or 2,206,884 shares. This renewed stake resulted from market purchases and an increase in the amount of shares held as collateral.
