Nordex Group Obtains New 60 MW Order in Ireland
The Nordex Group has announced a new order for the Drumnahough Wind Farm in Donegal, Ireland. The company will supply and install 12 N133/4.8 wind turbines, with a total installed capacity of approximately 60 MW. This project is in collaboration with SSE and FuturEnergy Ireland.
The turbines are scheduled for delivery and installation in 2027, using Killybegs Harbour as the main entry point. This initiative aligns with Ireland's renewable energy goals. Additionally, a long-term Premium Service agreement ensures reliable turbine operation.
This project marks another joint venture between Nordex and SSE Renewables, continuing their partnership after successfully delivering the 101 MW Yellow River wind farm. Moreover, they recently collaborated on new projects in Spain totaling 42 MW.
