Nordex Group Secures 42 MW Wind Farm Order in Spain with SSE
On November 11, 2025, Nordex Group announced a new order from SSE for the supply and installation of wind turbines totaling 42 MW in Spain. The projects, located near Portalrubio, Teruel in Aragón, include the Minguez wind farm with 19 MW and the Portalrubio wind farm with 23 MW. Nordex will integrate seven N163 turbines and provide a 20-year Premium Service contract for SSE.
This order strengthens the ongoing collaboration between Nordex and SSE, following the nearing completion of a 64 MW wind farm. The turbines, featuring tubular steel towers, will be produced in Spain, underlining Nordex's commitment to a robust European supply chain. Nordex's presence in Aragón is bolstered by their Zaragoza service point.
Francisco Cejudo, Director Sales Spain at Nordex, emphasized the significance of this partnership in supporting Aragón's renewable energy ambitions.
