Nordex Group Secures 49 MW Wind Farm Order in Germany
The Nordex Group announces a new order from GETEC green energy GmbH to supply and install seven N163/6.X turbines for the Zerbst wind farm in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. This project will expand an existing wind farm on a former military airfield. The order includes a 20-year Premium Service agreement for the turbines.
The turbines, part of the Delta4000 series, will be mounted on 164-meter hybrid towers starting in summer 2026. This marks a significant development for GETEC in enhancing wind energy production.
Nordex continues to leverage its experience, having installed approximately 57 GW of wind capacity worldwide and achieving sales of EUR 7.3 billion in 2024. The company employs over 10,400 individuals across a global manufacturing network.
