Nordex Group Secures 56 MW Wind Energy Order in Austria
The Nordex Group has secured a significant order of 56 MW from WEB Windenergie AG in Austria. This milestone involves the installation of eight N175/6.X turbines for the Auersthal RI repowering project located in Gänserndorf, Lower Austria. The project also includes a 25-year Premium Service agreement.
Marking a first for Nordex in Austria, these turbines are part of the largest single project the company has undertaken in the country. Each turbine boasts a capacity of 7 MW, promising enhanced efficiency in wind power generation. The project is set for completion in 2028.
The new turbines represent a technological leap in efficiency, contributing to the accelerated expansion of renewable energy. This initiative underscores Nordex's competitive edge in repowering existing sites with modern technology.
