Nordex Group Secures Significant 525 MW Order in Türkiye
The Nordex Group has announced a substantial new contract in Türkiye. The company received an order from Türkerler Holding for 525 MW. This agreement involves the supply and installation of 72 N175/6.X turbines, along with a 10-year Premium Service agreement, extendable to 25 years.
The wind project, named YEKA-5 R25 Sivas, will see these turbines set up at a hub height of 108 meters. The first turbine installation is slated for the third quarter of 2027, taking advantage of the site's favorable wind conditions. This move reinforces Nordex's strong presence in the Turkish market, where it holds a 34% market share.
Türkerler Holding, already a Nordex customer, operates across various sectors including energy and real estate. Ender Özatay, Nordex's Vice President for Türkiye and the Middle East, expressed confidence in their technology and local supply chain, highlighting the project's significance.
