Nordex Group Unveils N193/7.X Turbine to Expand Delta4000 Series
On September 22, 2026, Nordex Group announced the expansion of its Delta4000 series with the introduction of the N193/7.X turbine. This new turbine variant aims to optimize energy yield, cost effectiveness, and adaptation to diverse market requirements. It boasts a nominal capacity of 7.3 MW, a 193-meter rotor, and 95-meter blades, providing a competitive solution for medium- and low-wind sites.
The N193/7.X is set to debut in Germany with a maximum capacity of 6.6 MW, addressing specific permitting and grid connection needs. With a flexible power range and multiple operating modes, the turbine can be customized for various site specifications, enhancing economic viability and regulatory compliance.
Serial production of the N193/7.X is expected to begin in 2029. This development continues Nordex Group's focus on innovating its onshore turbine offerings for optimal performance and market adaptability.
