Nordex Secures 189 MW Wind Turbine Orders in Ukraine

The Nordex Group, a prominent player in the wind energy sector, has announced new orders from Ukraine, totaling 189 MW. The contracts involve two projects initiated by the OKKO Group, expected to commence in mid-2026. The projects will see the deployment of 32 N163/5.X turbines, each project having a capacity of 94.4 MW.

The turbines are specifically designed for cold climates and will be installed on 125-meter tubular steel towers in western Ukraine. These contracts also include a 20-year service agreement, ensuring long-term collaboration and support.

Nordex's ongoing expansion underscores its capability to deploy efficient wind power solutions in challenging environments. The company has installed 57 GW of wind capacity across 40 markets globally, with a focus on onshore turbines of 4 to 7 MW+.
