Nordex Secures 28 MW Wind Turbine Order in Germany
The Nordex Group announced a new order for 28 MW in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, from Windpark Nuscheler GmbH. The project involves the delivery of three N163/6.X turbines with a hub height of 164 meters, plus one additional turbine on a 118-meter steel tower for the Beesenstedt 3 site. A 15-year premium service contract accompanies the order, ensuring optimal operation of the turbines.
Installation is scheduled for spring 2027, with commissioning expected by summer. In 2025, Saxony-Anhalt saw 59 new turbines installed, totaling 330.8 MW of capacity. By 2028, the region anticipates nearly 300 additional turbines with around 1.9 GW capacity.
Windpark Nuscheler has been active since 2007, integrating wind energy, agriculture, and regional value creation, now powering about 23,000 households.
