North Peak Resources Ltd. has announced the commencement of diamond drilling at its Prospect Mountain Mine Complex in Eureka County, Nevada, aimed at exploring magnetotelluric (MT) anomalies. This follows the detailed review and refinement of geophysical data, focusing on a major sulphide anomaly.
Previous drilling intercepted narrow zones of mineralization with significant zinc and silver values but indicated a peripheral position to a mineralized core. Updated interpretations of the MT anomalies, refined through combined geophysical and ground surveys, have enhanced the targeting precision.
The drilling campaign also explores the Silver Connor Fault's oxide targets. Road improvements have facilitated improved water haulage, allowing for continuous diamond drilling operations.
