OHB SE Positioned for Growth with ESA Budget Increase

OHB SE is expected to benefit from the European Space Agency's (ESA) significant budget increase. The ESA's budget will rise by 30%, reaching €22.1 billion, as member states acknowledge the importance of civil space missions. This includes funding for dual-use missions for the first time.

Germany leads this commitment with a 44% budget contribution increase, totaling €5.1 billion. France and Italy follow, contributing €3.6 billion and €3.5 billion respectively. OHB's subsidiaries in Germany and Italy stand to gain significantly from this increase.

Key growth areas for OHB include Earth observation, navigation, and science domains. Navigation funding alone has soared by 176%. With secured funding, tender readiness is anticipated in the next 12-18 months, positioning OHB to capitalize on these opportunities.
