OHB Secures EUR 554 Million Contract for Copernicus Satellite

OHB System AG, a subsidiary of OHB SE, has been awarded a EUR 554 million contract by the European Space Agency (ESA) for the development of the Sentinel-3 Next Generation Topography (S3-NGT) satellite. This project is part of Europe's Copernicus earth observation program, which plays a critical role in monitoring climate change, oceans, and ice-covered regions.

Sentinel-3's next generation will use advanced altimetry instruments to improve observation capabilities. The mission aims to enhance data collection on oceans, inland waters, and ice dynamics, marking a significant technological advancement.
