Loïs Openda loaned to Olympique Lyonnais until the end of the season

Olympique Lyonnais have officially announced the arrival of Belgian striker Loïs Openda, on loan from Juventus for €3.5 million until the end of the season. The 26-year-old Openda, who came through the youth ranks at Standard Liège and Club Brugge, made his mark at the professional level starting in the 2018/2019 season. He notably impressed in the Netherlands with Vitesse Arnhem, scoring 37 goals in two seasons. After a successful spell at Racing Club de Lens, he joined RB Leipzig before his recent transfer to Juventus. Openda, who has 33 caps for the Belgian national team, will be expected to bolster Lyon's attack, especially with the Champions League third qualifying round approaching next week.
