OL signs Afonso Moreira until 2029

Olympique Lyonnais announces the arrival of 20-year-old Portuguese winger Afonso Moreira from Sporting Clube de Portugal. Moreira, an under-20 international, has signed a four-year contract, running until June 2029, with a transfer fee valued at €2 million, including a 20% profit-sharing incentive on any potential capital gains.

Afonso Moreira, originally from Viseu, joined Sporting's academy at a young age, recognized as one of the best in Europe. Noted for his performances, he signed his first professional contract at just 16 years old. He made his first team debut at 18 and alternated between the first team and the reserve team.

This recruitment is part of Olympique Lyonnais' strategy of focusing on promising young talents to build the club's future.
