Ruben Kluivert joins Olympique Lyonnais until 2030

Olympique Lyonnais has officially announced the arrival of Dutch central defender Ruben Kluivert from Portuguese club Casa Pia. The deal, worth €3.78 million, includes bonuses of up to €0.65 million and a 15% profit-sharing incentive on any potential resale capital gains. The contract runs until June 30, 2030.

Trained at Ajax Amsterdam, Kluivert stood out for his performances in the Portuguese first division, marked by his speed and defensive solidity. At 24, he becomes the fourth Dutch player in the history of the Lyon club, joining Michel Valke, Kenny Tete, and Memphis Depay.
