Omer-Decugis & Cie and PrepWorld launch PrepWorld France to conquer the fresh cut market
Omer-Decugis & Cie and PrepWorld announced on January 7, 2026, the creation of PrepWorld France, a joint venture aimed at boosting the European fresh-cut market. Based in Dunkirk-Port, this new entity intends to develop the fresh-cut fruit segment, which is booming in France and estimated at €200 million.
The joint venture focuses on consumer trends such as healthy eating and convenience. The partnership will allow Omer-Decugis & Cie and PrepWorld to leverage their respective expertise and optimize their supply chain through sustainable and integrated logistics.
The factory in Dunkirk will complement the British site in Northfleet, strengthening PrepWorld's presence in the European market with a high-quality prepared fresh fruit offering and a low carbon impact.
