Omer-Decugis & Cie and SEMMARIS: A Strategic Partnership in Dunkirk
Omer-Decugis & Cie has announced a strategic partnership with SEMMARIS, the operator of the Rungis Market, to develop a storage platform at the port of Dunkirk. This project contributes to the agri-logistics hub linking Dunkirk and Rungis, thereby strengthening French food supply and sovereignty.
SEMMARIS will manage the real estate, while Omer-Decugis will handle operations, financing the technical installations with an investment of 10 to 12 million euros. This innovative platform will double the group's ripening capacity.
With a surface area of 25,000 m², the site will include the largest ripening facility in France, a storage area, and a cutting plant. This project, central to Omer-Decugis & Cie's 2025-2030 strategic plan, aims to expand its logistics coverage and improve the distribution of fresh produce in Europe.
