OneD Battery Sciences and Putailai Collaborate on Silicon Anode Materials

In a strategic move, OneD Battery Sciences and Shanghai Putailai New Energy Technology Co. have announced a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to advance silicon-graphite anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. This collaboration aims to enhance product designs and scale production, leveraging OneD's SINANODE technology with Putailai’s manufacturing expertise.

The partnership focuses on accelerating high-volume production of affordable silicon-carbon anodes. Through this agreement, the companies aim to provide advanced materials that enhance battery performance across Asia, Europe, and the U.S.

The alliance includes simultaneous workstreams for technology transfer and product development, enabling efficient commercial adoption of high-quality anode products. Executives from both companies expressed optimism about delivering energy-dense, cost-effective battery solutions.
