Frédéric Sanchez Appointed as New Chairman of Orange

The Board of Directors at Orange has appointed Frédéric Sanchez as the new Chairman. He will assume the role following the Annual Shareholders' Meeting on May 19, 2026. Sanchez, an independent director at Orange since 2020, also chairs the Strategy and Technology Committee. His appointment follows recommendations from both the Governance, Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility Committee and an ad hoc committee, as Jacques Aschenbroich steps down due to reaching the statutory age limit.

The Board plans to propose at the shareholders' meeting that Jacques Aschenbroich's term as an independent director be renewed, allowing him to continue contributing his extensive knowledge and experience. The Board expressed gratitude for Aschenbroich's contributions during his tenure.

Sanchez, born in 1960, leads the Fives group. His tenure has been marked by international expansion and diversification. He holds degrees from HEC Paris, Sciences Po Paris, and Paris-Dauphine University.
