Organto Foods Reports Results from Annual General Meeting
Organto Foods Inc. announced the outcomes of its annual general meeting held in Vancouver, Canada, and Breda, the Netherlands. Approximately 30.1% of eligible outstanding shares, equating to 10,337,706 common shares, were voted at the meeting. All matters received over 99% support, reflecting strong shareholder approval.
Shareholders reviewed financial statements for the years ending 2023 and 2022, accompanied by the auditor's report. Five directors were elected: Steve Bromley, Peter Damouni, Peter Gianulis, Alejandro Maldonado, and Joe Riz, with 80% being independent.
The appointment of Dale Matheson Carr-Hilton Labonte LLP as the independent auditor for the next year was confirmed. Additionally, the Share Option and Restricted Share Unit Plans were approved for continuation until the next annual meeting.
