Photon Energy and Hyperion Renewables to Build 38 MW Solar Project in Romania

Photon Energy NV and Hyperion Renewables have announced a partnership for a 34 MW solar project in Săliște, Romania. This collaboration will expand the project capacity to 38 MW. The construction is set for Q3 2025, with commercial operations expected by Q3 2026. This marks Hyperion's first project in Romania and highlights Photon Energy’s capabilities in delivering international solutions.

Photon Energy will manage design, procurement, and construction, while also adding 4 MW to the capacity. The company will provide operations and maintenance services for the first three years, ensuring optimal facility performance. The project is expected to support Romania's renewable energy goals and is projected to create 35 to 50 local jobs, promoting regional economic development.
