Photon Energy Secures 139 MW Capacity Contracts in Poland

Photon Energy N.V. has successfully acquired additional capacity market contracts in Poland, securing 139.2 MW at a recent auction. This achievement complements the previously secured 57 MW, bringing the total capacity for 2026 to 196.2 MW. They anticipate revenues of approximately EUR 12.5 million for the year.

Photon Energy, a leader in demand-side-flexibility aggregation, has optimized its strategy by balancing capacity market auction participation with secondary market opportunities. Their strategic bidding led to substantial gains without significantly depressing prices.

As the third-largest aggregator in the Polish market, Photon Energy continues to expand its services, aiming to enhance its market position and service offerings in sectors like Ancillary Services and Load Frequency Control.
