PLANOPTIK AG Reports Decline in 2024 Revenue but Hopes for 2025 Recovery

PLANOPTIK AG has disclosed its preliminary financial figures for 2024. The company reported a revenue of EUR 11,861 thousand, a decline from EUR 13,253 thousand in 2023. The downturn is attributed to major customers reducing inventories amidst a challenging market environment.

Consequently, EBITDA dropped to EUR 1,761 thousand from the previous year’s EUR 3,075 thousand. EBIT also decreased to EUR 1,024 thousand, alongside EBT, which fell to EUR 1,085 thousand. The net profit for the year stood at EUR 700 thousand, significantly lower than the EUR 1,669 thousand achieved in 2023.

Looking ahead, PLANOPTIK AG anticipates a positive shift in consolidated revenue and earnings for 2025, although not reaching 2023 levels, considering the global trade policy risks. The company will align its 2025 half-year report with IFRS standards.
