OPmobility Expands Production Capabilities in Morocco
On October 19, 2026, OPmobility announced the opening of its fourth manufacturing plant in Morocco, situated in Kenitra. This strategic move highlights the company's continued investment in Morocco's automotive industry, boosting the local workforce to over 1,400 employees. The new facility specializes in exterior body parts production and adds over 100 new positions, focusing on a major international client.
Located in the Atlantic Free Zone, the plant features advanced automation in production and logistics. It will enhance OPmobility's existing operations in Kenitra, where 510 employees are now based. Established in Morocco since 2013, the company operates two facilities each in Kenitra and Tangier, offering a diverse range of automotive solutions.
Félicie Burelle, CEO of OPmobility, emphasized the company's strategic growth in Morocco, aligning with its diversification strategy across geographies, clients, and technologies. The new plant aims to strengthen OPmobility's local and global industrial capabilities while fostering expertise in key manufacturing areas.
