ENCAVIS Acquires Bebensee Wind Farm from PNE

ENCAVIS, a leader in the European renewable energy sector, has expanded its wind power portfolio by purchasing the Bebensee wind farm from PNE Group. The farm, located near Hamburg, has a 34 MW capacity and five Nordex N163 turbines. This acquisition strengthens ENCAVIS's position in the renewable energy market, bringing its total wind capacity in Germany to approximately 770 MW.

The Bebensee farm is expected to provide green electricity to around 33,000 households annually. The energy generation is secured with an EEG feed-in tariff for 20 years. Mario Schirru, CEO of Encavis, emphasizes the importance of this acquisition in advancing the energy transition. PNE’s energy consult GmbH will manage the farm’s operations, maintaining a connection to the local project.
