PNE AG Sells 'Bokel' Wind Farm to Union Investment's Fund
PNE AG has successfully completed the sale of the "Bokel" wind farm to an investment fund managed by Union Investment. Located in Sprakensehl, Germany, the farm includes seven wind turbines with a total output of 25.2 MW, capable of powering approximately 17,800 households with clean energy.
The decision to sell aligns with PNE's strategy to enhance its financial foundation and provide more flexibility for strategic expansion. Despite the sale, PNE's subsidiary, energy consult, will continue overseeing technical and commercial operations at the site at least until the end of 2029.
Looking forward, PNE aims to grow its energy production while engaging in selective sales to boost value creation and cash flow, reinforcing its position as an independent power producer. This approach balances growth with profitability.
