PNE and EDF Commission 16.8 MW Gebstedt Wind Farm

PNE AG and EDF Power Solutions Deutschland have launched the Gebstedt onshore wind farm in Thuringia, enhancing renewable energy capacity with the addition of 16.8 MW. The project includes four Vestas V150 turbines, each with a 4.2 MW capacity. These turbines contribute to the energy needs of approximately 14,400 households, exemplifying a strong commitment to the energy transition.

Both companies share the management of the turbines, with two turbines each integrated into their energy portfolios. This development increases PNE Group's total generation capacity from 428.5 MW in 2024 to 496.8 MW in 2025. Beyond strengthening energy infrastructure, the project also promotes regional ecological and economic advances through collaboration with local entities.
