PNE Secures Wind Energy Projects in France
PNE Group has successfully won bids in the 10th onshore wind energy tender in France. The contract includes two wind farms: "Romescamps" in Hauts-de-France with a capacity of 10.8 MW and "Chéry" in Centre-Val de Loire with a capacity of 10 MW. These projects are slated for commissioning in late 2027 and early 2029, respectively.
The projects have benefited from modificative permits, allowing them to adapt to new regulations and use advanced turbines, thereby enhancing power generation. PNE anticipates increased economic returns due to the competitive electricity prices achieved in the tender.
Roland Stanze, COO of PNE AG, emphasized the ongoing success in the French market, highlighting the enhanced economic efficiency and contribution to clean energy from these projects.
