PNE Successfully Sells 250 MW Photovoltaic Project in South Africa
PNE Group has announced the sale of a significant photovoltaic project in South Africa. The project, located in the Free State province, boasts a capacity of 250 MW. PNE's local teams successfully developed and marketed this project to a major South African independent power producer.
The sale underscores PNE's strategic focus on growth markets and its capability to leverage its extensive project pipeline. PNE South Africa will continue to support the project development until Financial Close, ensuring the seamless transition and future success of the venture.
As of mid-2026, PNE's South African project pipeline included around 2,000 MW of photovoltaic and 2,800 MW of wind energy projects, reinforcing its commitment to renewable energy in international markets.
