Porsche Divests Stakes in Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Group
Porsche has announced the sale of its stakes in Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Group to a consortium led by HOF Capital. The transaction agreements were finalized on April 24th, pending necessary regulatory approvals.
The joint venture Bugatti Rimac was established in 2021 with Porsche holding 45% and Rimac Group 55%. Additionally, Porsche holds a 20.6% stake in Rimac Group. The sale will transfer Porsche's entire equity stakes to the consortium, which includes BlueFive Capital and other institutional investors from the US and EU.
Post-transaction, Rimac Group will take control, forming a strategic partnership with HOF Capital and BlueFive Capital. The completion is anticipated by the end of 2026. The financial details are confidential, save for required disclosures.
