R. STAHL Announces Management Transition
R. STAHL AG has announced a planned change in its management structure. As resolved by the Supervisory Board, Dr. Claus Bischoff will join the Executive Board as Deputy Chairman from October 1, 2025, and will assume the role of Chairman on January 1, 2026. This transition follows Dr. Mathias Hallmann’s decision to step down as Chairman and leave the company by December 31, 2025.
Dr. Hallmann’s early departure aligns with a strategic succession plan initiated by the Supervisory Board. Despite his tenure originally set to conclude in September 2026, Dr. Hallmann has committed to fulfilling his responsibilities until his exit, ensuring a smooth transition by supporting Dr. Bischoff.
Dr. Bischoff brings extensive experience from international sectors including automotive, electronics, and automation. His expertise in developing digital business models is expected to complement R. STAHL's global operations.
