Raiffeisen Bank International AG Appoints New CFO
Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) has announced the appointment of Kamila Makhmudová as CFO to its Management Board, effective 1 January 2026. This change re-establishes the CFO function as a distinct board area at RBI. Makhmudová, with over 20 years in banking, joined RBI in 2007 and advanced through various strategic roles. Her appointment is subject to supervisory authority approval.
This board change does not alter the size of the Management Board. Andrii Stepanenko's departure will see CEO Johann Strobl taking on Retail management, while Rainer Schnabl awaits approval to manage CIB Products & Solutions. The board will now comprise Strobl, Brunner, Gschwenter, Makhmudová, Mösenbacher, and Schnabl.
