Readcrest Capital Plans 100 Apartments in Schwerin

Readcrest Capital AG announced its latest development project in Schwerin, with plans to build 100 apartments on a 10,000 sqm site. The construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027. This project, named "Quartier am Zoo," is part of the company's acquisition from the insolvency estate of AOC | Die Stadtentwickler GmbH. The development will feature a rental area of approximately 8,000 sqm.

Schwerin, the capital of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, is gaining traction as a promising business and residential area. The city benefits from its status as an educational hub, with four universities, and its location within the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. The project will emphasize sustainability, adhering to the KfW 40 QNG standard and aiming for DGNB "Gold" certification.
