Recticel Reports 12.7% Increase in Q1 2025 Sales
Recticel's organic sales have seen a notable increase, reaching EUR 158.4 million in the first quarter of 2025, a 12.7% rise from the same period in 2024. Despite a decrease in market prices compared to 2024 averages, there was a slight improvement from Q4 2024's record lows. The company's net cash position stands at EUR 52.0 million, down from EUR 74.4 million at the end of 2024.
CEO Jan Vergote notes robust growth in the residential sector, particularly in Northwestern Europe, boosting the company's Insulation Boards business. However, new non-residential construction continues to lag, impacting profit margins. Investment projects in Belgium and the US are proceeding on schedule.
Recticel remains optimistic about organic growth throughout 2025, with anticipated price increases in Q2, but refrains from providing specific financial forecasts due to market uncertainties.
