Zinkteknik Adopts Plex Platform for Global Growth

Rockwell Automation has announced that Zinkteknik, a Swedish automotive tier 2 zinc die-casting manufacturer, has chosen the Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform for its new operations in Monterrey, Mexico. This strategic move aims to standardize processes, offering real-time visibility, traceability, and quality across the company's facilities.

Zinkteknik will implement a suite of cloud-based solutions including the manufacturing execution system (MES), quality management system (QMS), electronic data interchange (EDI), and analytics. This decision follows a strategic focus on business outcomes and aims to support the company's long-term growth. The platform will be deployed with the help of Cumulus, part of Rockwell's PartnerNetwork.

The Plex platform offers Zinkteknik real-time insights into production processes and quality control, integrating compliance checks directly into workflows. This alignment supports the company's commitment to high standards in zinc die-casting components for the automotive sector.
