Rubis recorded strong performance in the first quarter of 2026
In the first quarter of 2026, Rubis delivered a strong performance, with sustained growth in both volumes and margins across its energy distribution business. The conflicts in the Middle East did not disrupt the company thanks to its geographic diversification and well-managed supply chain.
Volumes in the energy distribution sector increased by 12%, driven by strong performance in the bitumen and aviation segments in the Caribbean. However, Support & Services revenue declined by 7% year-over-year due to increased resource utilization for internal needs.
The renewable electricity generation portfolio was also strengthened, increasing by 32% to 1.5 GWp. The company is maintaining its targets for 2026, despite an unstable business environment.
