Saint-Gobain Finalizes Sale of Brazilian Distribution Business
Saint-Gobain has finalized a definitive agreement with Tauá Partners for the sale of its Brazilian distribution business, Telhanorte. This marks the complete divestment of the company's distribution operations in Brazil, following the sale of Tumelero in December 2025.
Telhanorte operates 27 stores and a logistic center in São Paulo, employing around 1,650 people and recording approximately €180 million in sales for 2025. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the first half of 2026.
This move aligns with Saint-Gobain's "Lead & Grow" strategy, aiming to strengthen its business portfolio. The company continues to focus on its core sectors in the construction materials industry.
