Sanofi Nominates Christel Heydemann as Independent Director

Sanofi's Board of Directors has proposed the appointment of Christel Heydemann as an independent director. This decision is set to be confirmed at the next Annual General Meeting on April 29, 2026. The Board also plans to renew the mandates of Christophe Babule and Jean-Paul Kress.

Patrick Kron will step down from his role at the upcoming meeting. The Board expressed gratitude for his contributions over 12 years. Heydemann, the current CEO of Orange Group, brings extensive experience from roles at Alcatel-Lucent and Schneider Electric.

Her background in industrial and digital transformation is expected to be instrumental for Sanofi's future growth. The Board, maintaining gender parity, comprises 16 members, including two employee representatives. Committee compositions will be reviewed after the meeting.
