PUMA Restructures Brand Marketing, Appoints Maria Valdes as Chief Brand Officer
PUMA has announced a reorganization of its Brand Marketing structure. The sports company will integrate Product Creation, Innovation, Go-to-Market, and Brand Marketing for a unified approach to storytelling. This reorganization aims to deliver impactful narratives for PUMA's products. Maria Valdes, previously Chief Product Officer, has been appointed as Chief Brand Officer, overseeing this new organization at the Management Board level.
Valdes will now manage Brand Marketing, Product, Creative Direction, Innovation, and Go-to-Market. Sports Marketing will remain separate and report to CEO Arthur Hoeld. These changes are effective immediately, signaling a strategic shift to enhance PUMA's competitiveness in the sporting goods industry.
