SBF AG Expands Production in Budweis to Cut Costs Significantly

SBF AG, a prominent player in rolling stock, lighting, and sensor technology, has expanded its production facilities in Budweis, Czech Republic. By shifting operations from Springe, the company aims to save approximately €1.7 million annually, despite incurring €1.1 million in relocation costs. This strategic move is expected to bolster SBF's competitiveness.

The Budweis plant will manufacture tailored LED solutions for various sectors, including industries and municipalities. The relocation involved complex logistics, requiring significant dedication from the team. According to Robert Stöcklinger from SBF's Management Board, the investment will enhance efficiency and achieve substantial long-term savings.
