SCOR Announces Executive Committee Changes
SCOR is making significant changes to its Group Executive Committee as it concludes its Forward 2026 plan and prepares for the next strategic cycle. Philipp Rüede has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer, effective 7 March 2026, succeeding François de Varenne. Pilar Santamaria Cases will become CEO of SCOR Life & Health (L&H) and join the Executive Committee on the same date.
Laure Forgeron joined on 5 January 2026 as the P&C Global Chief Underwriting Officer, strengthening SCOR's team. CEO Thierry Léger emphasizes that these appointments bring essential expertise to the company as it navigates future challenges. The appointments are part of an ongoing transformation strategy and aim to maintain SCOR's growth and innovation in the reinsurance sector.
