Séché Environnement to Acquire Groupe Flamme

Séché Environnement, a significant player in waste management, announced the signing of a unilateral purchase offer to acquire Groupe Flamme. This acquisition aims to enhance its industrial and commercial positions in Europe, particularly in hazardous waste management. Groupe Flamme operates in hazardous, non-hazardous waste, and sanitation markets, with a strong presence in the Hauts-de-France region. The acquisition would integrate considerable hazardous waste treatment capacities with Séché's current facilities.

With a 2024 revenue of approximately €100 million, Groupe Flamme is a key player in industrial waste management. The acquisition aligns with Séché's strategy to bolster its position in France and Europe. The transaction, valued at approximately €300 million, would be financed internally. Approval from the French Competition Authority is pending, with completion expected post-consultation with employee representatives.
