SEGRO Announces New Developments in Data Centre Projects
SEGRO, a prominent developer of warehouses and data centres, has announced progress in its extensive 2.5GW+ data centre program. A new agreement has been signed to construct a powered shell data centre for an existing client at the Slough Trading Estate. This development will offer 30,000 sq m of data centre space with 50MVA of power, adhering to high sustainability standards.
In addition, SEGRO has received planning committee approval for a fully fitted data centre at SEGRO Premier Park in London, in collaboration with Pure Data Centres Group. The facility, with 70 MVA power capacity, will integrate energy-efficient designs such as closed-loop liquid cooling.
These developments are part of SEGRO's strategy to expand its data centre offerings and enhance sustainability features in its infrastructure. Both projects mark significant steps in utilizing SEGRO's land bank and advancing their data centre initiatives.
